In this 8 week course students will learn to illustrate and animate using digital software like Adobe and Procreate, experiment with new animation techniques, learn how to develop a collection of original characters/worlds and tackle independent projects. This class is ideal for students who want to learn how to make compelling works of art for professional and college ready digital art portfolios. Students will leave this course with 4-5 projects, including an independent project applying their new skills to their own ideas. Introductory and advanced students are encouraged to take this class.Students are required to bring a sketchbook.

This class prepares students for advanced programs like Summer Art Institute and Senior Project.
