The Art Effect

I am an MFA candidate in Painting and Drawing at SUNY New Paltz. Recently, I have been working largely in sculpture and tapestry. I like to think about how non-traditional materials can be utilized in sculpture to invent new forms with an emphasis on color and texture. I am a mother to a preteen and two dogs. My favorite thing to do in my free time is to garden. I enjoy sculpting in the garden too! I like to try my hand at topiary and other shaping techniques. Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
