Hi There ! My name is Shinyere “Sama” Davis! As the new Director for Ulster Arts Camp, I am incredibly grateful to share my love for the arts, culture and community with my team, our campers and the families in our community ! As a graduate of Buffalo State University, I have a background in Bilingual education and have developed curriculum and programming for cultural arts and socio-emotional learning. With a passion for equitable education and diversity in arts, we are SUPER excited to create an exceptionally majestic experience for our talented students by nurturing their self-empowerment, individual creative expression and community imprint. Every student deserves the support and freedom to shine brightly and ignite their inner creative fires ! In my free time I love to spend time with my puppies, writing, art shows, music and exploring different parks and hiking trails ! Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
