Art After Dark
Art After Dark is our signature fundraising event featuring immersive arts experiences created by The Art Effect staff and youth, culinary delights, and cocktails with an artistic twist. In 2022, the event honored G. Angela Henry, the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and alumnus Shakur Peterson. Past honorees have included community leaders Michael Quinn and Niki Pagones Quinn and Karen and Nevill Smythe; teacher Todd Poteet; as well as alumni Sad’e Sharas, Jason Bard Yarmosky, Breanna Nussbickel, and Amina Kearney. Now in its fifth year, Art After Dark will attract between 150 to 200 attendees at the Trolley Barn Gallery next fall.

Hudson Valley Regional Portfolio Day
Hudson Valley Regional Portfolio Day is a free annual event that gives more than 300 students the opportunity to meet with college representatives from over 40 of the most prestigious art schools in our nation and to have their portfolios reviewed by the schools, presenting incredibly pre-college exposure and access to local youth interested in attending arts colleges.
