Ready to stand out to college admissions and take your art to the next level? In this focused 8-week class, you’ll build a powerful portfolio that showcases both your technical skills and creative voice. Strengthen your foundations in drawing and painting while developing the art of working from observation through studies of live models, still lifes, self-portraits, and imaginative compositions. Learn to bring your ideas to life with confidence, refine your artistic style, and create a cohesive body of work that highlights your unique strengths. A sketchbook is required.

This class prepares students for advanced classes, including Portfolio Development II, Senior Project, live model courses, and college applications.
