Abby Lloyd is an artist and curator based in New York, working in sculpture, performance, video, and installation. Her work uses humor and everyday materials to explore memory and the emotional charge of objects. She also organizes community-based events and projects with a network of artists and organizations. Abby has several years of experience teaching art to kids, including sculpture and project-based workshops that encourage creativity and experimentation. This summer, she’ll be leading 3D and mixed media projects using unexpected materials and recycled items.
