Teaching Artist, Portfolio in Digital Portfolio
Hello! I’m excited to be teaching the Portfolio Digital Portfolio course this summer, where we’ll embark on an artistic journey to help advanced students take their skills to the next level.
In addition to being an artist, I also have a passion for gardening and landscaping. Working with plants has taught me the value of observation and understanding how things grow and flourish. By carefully observing the natural world around us, we can gain valuable insights that can inform and inspire our artwork. I believe that becoming better observers allows us to connect more deeply with our surroundings and enhance our artistic abilities.
Throughout this course, I will encourage all students to cultivate their observation skills, and to look closer at the world around them. By developing a keen eye for detail and honing their powers of observation, students will not only grow as artists but also as individuals. Together, we will explore how everyday observation of color, form, and light can serve as a powerful tool in the creative process, enriching our artistic expressions and nurturing our artistic growth.
I’m thrilled to be part of this artistic journey with The Art Effect, and I look forward to getting to know each of my new students.
