Melanie Gonzalez is an administrator, artist photographer, and sewist residing in the Mid-Hudson Valley region. She received her BA in Studio Art (Photography) from The City College of NY and has been exhibiting art, producing public art commissions, videos, fashion designs and photo publications under the names Melanie Gonzalez Art (2014-) /Suzanna Productions (2019-). Gonzalez has worked with numerous nonprofits, small businesses, and individual artists in Dutchess and Ulster Counties as a sewing and art instructor, photography collaborator, admin assistance with youth and all ages. Engaging with her passions such as sustainable organizational and creative services, multi-cultural and lingual learning, and sourcing from daily life inspirations for garment making, fine art photography, and upcycled crafts are skills and specifications that draw her to community building projects and special events coordination.
