The Art Effect

In 2020 I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) with a BFA in Painting, since then I have been teaching a multitude of Art Institute classes with The Art Effect. I am a figurative painter who specializes in oil and acrylic paint, but enjoy working in all drawing and painting media. Most of my work embraces and challenges ideas of femininity as it relates to and informs the human body and experience. I will be leading this Summer’s Foundations in Portfolio Development major, and I am excited to teach students the intricacies of figure drawing, color theory, and more generally, how to use art as a tool for self reflection and expression.
