The day before the “quiet as it’s kept” Contemporary Black Art exhibition opens to the public, the Trolley Barn Galley is hosting its first VIP art sale Pre-show. Artists who are able to travel to the Trolley Barn Gallery are encouraged to attend the Preshow to speak about their work with a curated guest list of local gallerists, art buyers, and community leaders. Champagne, appetizers and an exclusive tour of the Trolley Barn facilities will be provided and the Trolley Barn’s talented youth curators will give insight into the significance of the exhibited works and how exhibitions such as this one can empower Poughkeepsie.
